Cities of London & Westminster MP, Nickie Aiken, has led debates, spoken out in Parliament, and taken action to save them.
After Nickie joined forces with The London Gasketeers, Westminster City Council listened to our calls and cancelled its plan to replace most of Westminster’s gas lamps.
However, many remain at risk, so Nickie is continuing to work with local people and The London Gasketeers to Save Our Gas Lamps. Nickie has raised this again with Lord Parkinson, the heritage Minister, and she looks forward to continuing discussions.
