Two Cities MP, Nickie Aiken, joined representatives of Boots and WH Smith at The Abbey Centre to see the amazing support these companies have given to the centre in providing gifts to those families most in need.
When Nickie last visited The Abbey Centre in October, she heard about the plight of local families and the support they needed. Following this, she took the opportunity to reach out to some of the high street’s best-known brands to request donations. Nickie is so pleased to report that over 200 presents were donated as result. These include toys, stationery and gift sets that will hopefully put even bigger smiles on the faces of children come Christmas morning.
