"It's National Storytelling Week, and I'm here outside one of the amazing libraries that we have across the Two Cities, both in Westminster and in the City of London. Reading with our children and storytelling with our children is so important for their development. It opens up the world of literature and imagination for them, helping them with their reading, writing and their language skills.
"I used to love reading stories with my children when they were little, so I hope you can do the same. Encourage our children to enjoy all the wide range of books that are available in our libraries. Happy storytelling."
