MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken, is concerned about the escalating anti-social behaviour that's taking place in St George's Square Gardens, Pimlico. 

Just a few weeks ago, park benches were ripped up, a bin was set on fire and one of the cigarette bins were dumped in the fountain.

Launching the petition, Nickie commented,

"Local people need to feel safe in their local park.

"That's why I've joined forces with residents and users of the Gardens. We're calling on Westminster City Council to fund a permanent park warden for St George’s Square Gardens."

Nickie Aiken's final speech in the House of Commons
