Following the news that the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing, and Communities, will look into calling in the application for Bastion House, London Wall West, Nickie Aiken MP was delighted to catch up with representatives from the Barbican Quarter Action.
Nickie has been proud to support the Barbican Quarter Action for a number of years, and thanks to their constant campaigning to ensure their voices were heard, she wrote to Michael Gove MP, to take a closer look at the plans.
Whilst the City of London's planning committee approved the development, the process has paused. Nickie will continue to work with local people and the Barbican Quarter Action to ensure views are heard.
