Nickie Aiken MP continues to make the case to repeal the Vagrancy Act

MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken, attended a constructive meeting at Downing Street with Robert Jenrick MP to raise their campaign for the repeal of the Vagrancy Act. Nickie is pleased to have Robert's support, especially with all his experience and knowledge on matters relating to rough sleeping.

For more than 10 years, Nickie has campaigned to improve services and resources for rough sleepers. She is working with St Mungo’s, The Passage and Crisis to push for the repeal of the Vagrancy Act (1824) which is an antiquated piece of legislation that currently criminalises, rather than supports, rough sleepers.
