Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken, championed the fantastic work of the Boutique, a Terrence Higgins Trust charity shop which since its launch 15 years ago has raised £1,000,000 to support the vital work of the Trust.

Speaking after the visit, Nickie remarked,

"I've just been to visit the brilliant team in the Terrence Higgins charity shop in Pimlico in the heart of the Two Cities. I've been talking to the brilliant volunteers, some have been here ten or 15 years supporting the charity shop, as well as Terrence Higgins staff who work on the policy side.

"This shop has raised £1,000,000 for the Terrence Higgins Trust charity, which I think is utterly amazing. And it helps support the work of the Terrence Higgins Trust on developing policy and campaigning and also supporting people with HIV.

"So please do donate here if you can. But equally importantly, if you fancy trying to pick up a bargain and there are some amazing brands in there, designer brands, then please do pop in to the Terrence Higgins Trust Charity Shop in Churton Street. You don’t have to be living in Pimlico, you can be living anywhere but come and support this brilliant charity shop and this outstanding charity."
