Tackling rough sleeping

MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken, took the opportunity to catch up with Mayor of Greater Manchester and her fellow Kerslake Commissioner Andy Burnham.

They shared their knowledge and experiences of endeavouring to end rough sleeping in Manchester and the Two Cities and agreed to continue to share best practice.

Nickie is proud of the work the Government has already undertaken, and the funding in place, but more must be done. She looks forward to working with colleagues from across Government including Rough Sleeping Minister, Eddie Hughes MP, as we make the vision a reality, with an approach that puts the preservation of life at its core.
