Save Our Buses

There's not long left to Save Our Buses! The Mayor of London's plan to abolish 22 bus routes across London will have a detrimental impact on our neighbourhoods.

His plan will cause longer, more crowded journeys, or push more people into expensive taxis and private hire vehicles.

Buses at risk include the numbers 4, 11, 14, 16, 24, 211 and 507 as well as many more.

All routes at risk of being withdrawn entirely or no longer serving the Cities of London & Westminster include: 4, 11, 12, 14, 16, 24, 74, 78, 113, 189, 205, 211, 242, 521, N11, N16, N74, N205 and N242.

Routes being changed in the Cities of London & Westminster include: 3, 6, 15, 23, 43, 47, 88, 98, 133, 343, 507, C10, N98 and N133.

Proposals for routes 211 and 14, critical hospital routes, would mean they no longer serve Charing Cross, Chelsea & Westminster, Royal Brompton, Royal Marsden or St Thomas' hospitals. This would mean more changes, or an increasing number of people vying for space on fewer, less frequent services.

Nickie has also heard from local people about the impact of the Mayor's plan to withdraw route 4 from the City of London. Another key hospital route under threat! We cannot allow our critical hospital bus routes to be axed.

The Mayor has already been forced to extend his consultation once, but it is set to close on 7 August 2022. If you haven't already, please sign Nickie's petition below and encourage your friends also. Take part in Mayor Khan’s consultation to ensure TfL hear our concerns.
