Earlier today, Nickie visited the City of London Distillery. The Distillery became the City’s first gin distillery in almost 200 years when it opened in 2012. Like most other businesses, its premises shut during lockdown.

Having reopened about a month ago, the Distillery is seeing customers return in larger numbers week on week.

On the visit Nickie said, “I very much enjoyed my visit the City of London Distillery today. Sadly, I was unable to sample any gins as I had meetings later in the day! It was great to hear that customers are returning to the Distillery in ever growing numbers and that the business was even able to grow through strong online sales during lockdown.

“I wish the distillery the best of luck in the future. I look forward to visiting again!”
