Two Cities MP, Nickie Aiken, caught up with the Westminster Bangladeshi Association for an update on their work within South Westminster.
The Westminster Bangladeshi Association is a not-for-profit charity, set up in 2002, by local members of our neighbourhood. They've delivered services thanks to their volunteers ever since!
Nickie commented that it was fantastic to learn that they are emphasising women's and girls’ sports and are encouraging more girls into science, technology, engineering and maths. As well as providing homework clubs, Bangla lessons and their famous badminton sessions and competitions.
