Nickie at a Chiltern Railways public meeting

Since being elected as our Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, improving air quality at Marylebone Station has been a priority of Nickie's.

As the only station in London to still use diesel-only trains, Marylebone Station has been in desperate need of an upgrade.

This is why Nickie has been relentlessly working with local people, councillors, the Marylebone Society, local businesses and the Government to push Chiltern Railways to end their reliance on diesel-only trains.

Nickie joined local Marylebone residents at Chiltern’s public meeting to hear more about how they’re making Marylebone a healthier place to live and work - from the rollout of new hydrotreated vegetable oil trains to modifications to their locomotive trains that will reduce external noise.
