MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken, joined Ian Dyson QPM and Angela McLaren from the City of London Police to hear more about the brilliant work they are doing to tackle cybercrime and fraud.
Subject to Royal Assent, AC McLaren will take up the position of Commissioner later this year, when Commissioner Ian Dyson retires after 38 years of police service.
Nickie is proud that the City of London Police is the National Police Chiefs' Council lead for economic and cybercrime and the national lead force for fraud. They work to investigate serious, complex, and cross-border fraud, which is beyond the capability of a local police force, and provides training for such police forces and private sector work through its Economic Crime Academy.
