St Mungo's, Grange Road

For more than a decade, Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, has campaigned to support the most vulnerable in our society and ensure they have access to the resources and support they need and deserve.

Nickie was delighted to join the Corporation of London’s chairman of the homelessness & rough sleeping committee, Deputy Marianne Fredericks and Will Norman, the City of London's Head of Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleeping, at the City’s new accommodation service run by rough sleeping charity, St Mungo’s, on Grange Road, Southwark, to see how they are continuing to support some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

On her visit, Nickie saw how St Mungo's is providing a safe, inclusive and therapeutic space with secure accommodation and long-term support services in place. The new facility has been driven by Deputy Fredericks and is a credit to her campaigning for better homelessness services in and around the Square Mile.

It's another essential project to support the most vulnerable in our society and is backed by Government funding. Nickie looks forward to continuing work with St Mungo's and the City of London Corporation as she continues her campaign to give the most vulnerable in our society the services and resources they need.
