Downing Street

Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, attended a meeting in Downing Street to discuss tackling anti-social behaviour in our neighbourhoods.

Nickie believes in a zero-tolerance approach in policing, and she's hearing from increasing numbers of local people throughout the Two Cities who are worried about drug-dealing and drug-taking.

Nickie was pleased to take local people's views directly to the heart of Government and she is confident we will see new policies and laws tabled in the near future to deal with the problems caused by a small minority of people.

At the same time, Nickie will continue to lobby our police forces to take a zero-tolerance approach and ensure police officers are out patrolling the streets to make the Two Cities a safer place to live and work.

If you haven't already, respond to Nickie's policing and crime survey and share your views on what the priorities for our police should be.
