MP for the Two Cities, Nickie Aiken, championed her Pedicabs (London) Bill on BBC London News.

Nickie's Bill would give Transport for London the powers to regulate pedicabs for the safety of those who use them.

Nickie said,

"My Bill will mean that the vehicles are checked, but also equally importantly, the drivers are checked, they go through a checking system.

"I'm surprised that no body has been seriously hurt, or even killed to date, because, some of these vehicles I see out on the streets don't look road worthy."
