A greener Two Cities

^ Nickie joined community activists and the Marylebone Society to campaign to improve air quality around Marylebone Station

Nickie knows there is further to go to clean up London’s air which is why she’s lobbying to change rules around taxation which currently incentivise companies to knock down and rebuild, rather than refurbish buildings and so save thousands of tonnes of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere. Nickie also continues to work with community activists to protect our air and secure greener trains at London’s last diesel-only station, Marylebone Station. This builds on Nickie’s work as the Leader of Westminster City Council to cut engine idling through the successful #DontBeIdle campaign.
