Every child deserves the best start in life. This is why Nickie lobbied the Government for Generation Genome, a pioneering new-born screening programme detecting over 200 rare diseases in babies. Nickie continues to work with the Government, Westminster City Council and the City of London Corporation to ensure every child gets the best education at an Outstanding local school. On the international stage, Nickie speaks out for women and girls’ rights. She continues to work on securing access to education for every child to at least aged 12, around the world.
